The members of KA-RaceIng are developing, designing and manufacturing formula student class racecars.
Why students are building racecars:
Experience with teamwork, time and project management along with construction, manufacturing and the economical aspects of automotive engineering greatly improve the qualifications of young engineers. "Formula Student" brings the participants out into the open for automotive companies to see, thereby increasing job placement opportunities. Sponsors of the competition and of the individual teams are able to build valuable contacts with potential employees, and the employers are able to gain detailed impressions of the competitors throughout the events.

To take something as awesome as driving an fsae car and give the reigns to a robot is a sin. To take the naturally aspirated engines and replace them with a battery is retarded as well.

Do we really want this, or are we doing it for the sake of doing it. I think it is cool, but there is something more unique about people driving cars than a AI that can't die doing it.
I think this could be the way forward. I think it’s great for engineers to have another playground to do R&D on new vehicle control technologies (steering, abs, suspension, etc.) especially in this age where driverless, or at the very least, autopilot-equipped cars are becoming a reality.
this ai is definitly on 120% push and probly also super grip on 120%

The first wheeles (aluminium) are from Keizer as i would gues from the Logo. The Carbon Rims are made by the team as i heard.
